The 3M™ Dynatel™ 2550XE-ID/2573XE-ID Series Locators integrate cable and pipe locating, fault detection, EMS marker locating, and 3M™ ID marker read/write capabilities for field professionals. They feature a lightweight design offering excellent balance and ergonomics, a large display with a user-friendly interface and enhanced connectivity, a lithium-ion battery with a built-in charger, and an internal GPS module.
The 3M™ Dynatel™ 2550XE-ID/2573XE-ID Locator can locate cables, pipes, and all properly installed passive marker models. It detects industry-standard electronic marker frequencies. This locator combines simplified interfaces with precision locating capabilities, six active frequencies for direct connection, and a trace-view mapping display mode. The Dynatel locator incorporates a GPS communication system to provide GIS-based mapping of electronic markers. It operates at temperatures ranging from -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F). It includes a 3 W or 12 W transmitter with four induction frequencies at the maximum permitted output power and all frequency modes in direct connection (four simultaneously).
