Use 3M™ Glass Cloth Tape 361 for applications requiring high temperature resistance. Our tape features a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive for applications requiring high adhesion, long service life, good holding power and clean removal. The abrasion-resistant backing is ideal for masking and protection during thermal spray operations.

Protect surfaces and materials from high temperatures with 3M™ Glass Cloth Tape 361 for general-purpose applications. Our tape is 0.16 mm thick and features a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive for tasks requiring high adhesion, durability, good holding power and residue-free removal. It withstands intermittent temperatures of up to 288 °C or even higher, depending on the type of heat source and the duration of exposure. Continuous exposure to temperatures above 232 °C will degrade the adhesive over time, resulting in loss of adhesion and darkening of the glass cloth backing. It is primarily used in the aerospace and automotive industries, military operations, roofing and shipbuilding, and for special-purpose vehicles. It is also used for joining fabrics, splicing and sealing panels, masking, bundling, securing and packaging harnesses.
