For a consistent finish, use the 3M™ Hookit™ 260L Purple Film Backed Finishing Abrasive Disc, our disc featuring durable, fast-cutting aluminium oxide abrasive mineral. It is used for coating sanding during feather-edging and for removing dust nibs and excess orange peel from coating finishes before repainting or polishing. The discs are easily removed from backup pads. They are faster and easier to use than scuffing pads, and faster and cleaner than wet sanding. Used for feather-edging the repair area before painting.
